Jullian Original fullsize easel, JB45
This is the original easel designed by Roger Jullian in 1945, used by Winston Churchill but has been upgraded for 2005 to create the best easel money can buy.

Made entirely of naturally seasoned oiled beech wood that turns a golden colour when it ages. The finest craftsmen in Europe construct the easel using lifetime rivets and screws. Only brass and brass plated non-tarnishing hardware is used plus as a bonus you get a leather shoulder strap with contrasting stitching, a leather luggage label, finished 300mm x 400mm mahogany wood palette and comfortable leather carrying handle. NEW for autumn 2006 is the free canvas carry bag which is included with every Jullian Original easel.

Another new feature is the Jullian monogrammed brush flannel, which hangs on a brass ring. The sketch box drawer has an easy to clean chrome metal interior divided into 3 sections. Below the drawer are two full depth metal lined compartments for brush storage.

The sketch box incorporates a wet canvas carrier and may be used to hold canvasses or watercolour paper up to 800mm high at a vertical or horizontal position and is perfect for pastels, watercolours, oil colours and acrylics. For artists who uses a variety of mediums the optional JB45D material drawer provides an interchangeable storage drawer. Many artists tell us the best feature of all is the stability of the Jullian.

When folded the easel measures 365mm x 150mm x 546mm Legs unfold to a sitting or standing height. Weighs only 6Kgs empty.

This complete painting station is designed for the artist who wants a quality travel easel but prefers a lighter weight version.

Made in seasoned beech with brass fittings, crafted in meticulous fashion by French craftsmen. In our opinion it is the best available half size easel in the world today.

The easel will hold canvas or watercolour block up to 810mm high, tilts to accommodate any media and is equipped with a real leather luggage handle stitched in Jullian colour. The folding wood palette measures 305mm x 406mm.

The easel is adjustable for height and uneven ground surfaces and can be used on a table. The storage compartment is metal lined for easy cleaning. The Jullian is known for its quality, stability and capacity. It may be used at sitting or standing position for total freedom of use.

The trestles are priced and supplied as a pair. Made to the Jullian quality in oiled beech, these trestles support canvasses, table tops etc.
Adjustable in height from 800mm to 980mm (32" - 39"and also adjustable for angle. The width is 660mm, so will comfortably support boards up to 1 metre wide depending on level of stability sought.
